HUMC Missions - U.S. and Abroad

The United Methodist Church is a global church. Here at HUMC, we are no different. It is our desire to be the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus locally, nationally, and around the world. Our annual apportionments, which fund a multitude of ministries here and abroad, are paid through your giving to our annual church budget. Additionally, we support the following ministries with our finances, our time, and our prayers.

Please visit the following pages for more information about each mission. For more info about our apportionments, contact the church office.

Operation Christmas Child

Samaritan’s Purse works with local churches to deliver shoe boxes filled with gifts to children around the world. Highland United Methodist Church (HUMC) would like to have a part in this ministry in 2018. You can help by praying for this ministry, purchasing any of the items listed below, and donating money to help purchase items needed for the shoe boxes or for postage ($9.00) to deliver the boxes. There will be OCC labled in the lobby to collect the items. If you wish to contribute funds through the offering, write “Shoe Box” on the check or envelope. Here are the items to be collected along with the dates they are requested to be donated.
